Opening Calendar entries in Edit mode

The normal behaviour for calendar entries upon opening is to present themselves in edit mode.

This has stopped working for a user.

I don’t know how to fix it, because, how I know to make this happen is to tell a form to open in edit mode – but the form in question, _Calendar Entry | Appointment , comes out of the box from Lotus without that property ticked on the form.

Anyone else encountered this and know how to get the magic working again?

For those searching in the future (as there were no answers here when I searched for this before posting)…

What seems to have caused it is that somehow, the user’s name in their calendar profile (under tools, preferences) got changed from them. At least, setting it back to their name made the problem go away – 2 days and counting now!
