Opening a view in another database

Hello,

I am in Database A

I want to privide a link, when this is link is pressed I want a view opened in a new window. This view is in aonther database(database B).

I have the replica ID of Database B and the required view name.

What is the best way to do this?

I tried to use

@Command( [OpenView] ; viewName ; key ; newinstance )

but I can’t specify another database

Thanks fo your time

From Notes or Web ?

Notes client

@Command( [FileOpenDatabase]; server : database ; viewName ; key ; newinstance ; temporary )

database

Text. Optional. The path and file name (in the appropriate format for the operating system) of the database you want to open. If you omit the name of the database, and one is already open, Notes/Domino displays that database’s view in the topmost, or current, window. If no database is open but one is selected on the workspace, the selected database is opened. If no databases are open or selected, Notes/Domino displays the Open Database dialog box, so the user can select a database.

I don’t have the database name, I only have the replica ID

Add an application profile document to configure the filepath. Get it with a simple @GetProfileField(“AppProfile”, “RemoteDBFilePath”).

I guess the remote DB won’t move every day.
