I have installed team studio and R6 client in my machine. I just discovered that it takes ~one and a half minute opening a form. My team member told me it takes 20-30 seconds opening the same form.
Anybody has an idea why it is slow in my machine? How to improve this performance?

I had a similar problem and tried compacting the database, etc. to no avail. For some reason, at least in my case, I think my form got corrupted. I simply copied it and repasted it; renamed the old version to a “backup” and renamed the new one to the same name … and I can’t explain why, but the form did open up properly after that. hth. Cathy

Delete the CACHE.DSK (CACHE.NDK) from your DATA directory. This will probably do it for you. Always do this after an R6 upgrade.
Still, 20 seconds is a looonnng time. Is it a very complex form? Maybe it needs to be simplified.
