Open Relay

I have configured my server to block the open relay.

In Configuration Document, Router/SMTP, Restrictions and Controls, SMTP Inbound Controls, the field

“Deny messages to be sent to the following external internet domains:(* means all)” is set to “*”.

In the Inbound Relay Enforcement section, Perform Anti-Relay enforcement for these connecting hosts is set to “External hosts”

But in my server mail.box, I could still see external domain mail passing thru my server destined to external domain. Where did I go wrong.

I am running Domino 7.0.2 FP2 on Windows 2003.

Subject: Identical Issue with relay

I am also having the same issue. I have set the inbound relay controls as follows:

Deny messages to be sent to the following external internet domains:(* means all) *

Deny messages from the following internet hosts to be sent to external internet domains:(* means all) *

I have set the Inbound Relay Enforcement as follows:

Perform Anti-Relay enforcement for these connecting hosts: All connecting hosts

Exceptions for authenticated users: Perform anti-relay checks for authenticated users

Any suggestions would be welcomed.
