Open person document

Hello,

I want to create a button in a way that if user click that button ,person document

belongs to him in address book should open in edit mode so that he can enter his personnel information.Can anyone suggest me the code for this either in formula or lotus script language as i am new to the development.

Subject: Open person document

first create a view called (fullname) in the names.nsf dbview selection - SELECT Type = “Person”

first column should be - fullname

the column should be sorted and show mulitple values as separate entries

then add this code to the button (add your server name)

button:

Dim view As NotesView

Set db=session.GetDatabase(server,namesdb)

Set view=db.GetView("(fullname)")

Set doc=view.GetDocumentByKey(user)





Set uidoc = workspace.EditDocument( True,doc)
