We have been using the Notes client, our mail archives are found on the client PC. The server contains only new mails. We now plan to use iNotes without the Notes client. How do we open the local archive of the Notes client using iNotes only?

I was doing some testing today and find that if I move the archive file from its current path under lotus\notes\data\archive to the archive directory under program files\lotus inotes\data\ I can archive to and access the archive file just fine using DWA. The one gotcha seems to be that the archive settings under preference must only contain archive\filename, if it has the full path DWA can’t seem to open the file. Since you won’t be using the client any more, this should not be a problem for you.
