I just installed Notes 8.0.1 on Vista. The Open List links that point to Notes objects do not work. I get an error saying that I should set program associations for a URL style action, i.e. Notes:///882570B2005E52AB. There does not appear to be any way to add the NOTES:// protocol in the Default Programs tool. The Open List links to program entries (Designer and Admin) do work. I found a similar post in this forum that was resolved by removing the Notes add-in for Windows Desktop search. I never installed that add-in and Windows Search service is disabled. One more symptom: I dragged a Notes db to the docked Open List and it worked until I restarted Notes, now it gives the same error. Does anyone have a solution for this?
