OOS still active after return datetime

Hi,scenario:

  • verified on lotus domino server 8.5 / 8.5.1 / 8.5.1FP1 / 8.5.1FP2 / 8.5.1FP3;

  • users set&anable ooo only via inotes;

  • command “tell router o” lists the enabled profiles;

  • automatic replies correctly sent;

  • after expiration datetime (return date) router removes from list in the “tell router o” the database BUT out of office profile remains ACTIVE in inotes;

  • analisy with notespeek showes that ooo profile has tasktype=2 and taskstatus=1

Subject: OOA enabled?

even though the OOS is being used I’ve had some instances where the OOA also got enabled. Even though the OOS stops running the OOA remains enabled and continues to run. Make sure the OOA is disabled.

Subject: OOA not enabled

Hi Paul,if you mean OOA as Agent OutOfOffice enabled the answer is no, the agent is not enabled.

After expiration router (correctly) stops automatically replying.

The problem is that when user returns back to the inotes ooo he finds the profile already active: so he updates with the new period the dates but the ENABLE button is not available and he just save the profile. So the profile remains not enabled (for router activity) but ACTIVE!

And this is a big problem for a 6000 users company!

Subject: iNotes

is that all you use is iNotes or is the OOS enabled via the client then changed in iNotes later? There is a technote about enabling this feature from different clients (i.e., notes, web, mobile). You may also want to try deleting the existing OOTO profile to create a new fresh one and see if the problem continues after doing so.

Subject: Only inotes

Users work only with inotes and web interface.I verified the problems with new mail database.
