Yes, I know, what a stupid mistake. It was an accident and I just blame it on my clumsy mouse technique!
Anyhow, does anyone know of a quick way to remove all these bookmarks?
At present I am stuck with right clicking each one individually and selecting remove bookmark from the context menu. I really don’t want to have to do this 500+ times!

Have you tried opening the bookmarks database and just deleting the bookmark documents? You’ll need to do the CTRL-SHIFT trick to get to the hidden views.

Highlight the bookmark.nsf database icon in your workspace or whatever.
Holding down CTRL and SHIFT, go to the “View” menu. Select “Go To…” and choose one of the hidden views that appear. One of them will contain bookmark documents: try “(All Bookmarks)” for starters.

Thanks for that tip. In 5 years of using and administering notes I never knew about the ctrl-shidt trick!
However, I found all of the bookmarks (in the all bookmarks view) and deleted them, but they still appear on the bookmark bar. I have tried restarting my client and ctrl-shift-f9, but they refuse to budge. They do not reappear under the all bookmarks view, and I cannot see them under any other view.
Thanks for your help thus far Ben. I have already learnt something new.
