Subject: Out of office service - language packs
Currently Out of office service uses the language pack which is installed on the server. So if the server has the English pack and Notes Client has a French pack, the notices will be generated inEnglish. We have heard from our customers that they would like the notices to be generated in the language that the user uses on the Notes Client. This issue is tracked by JRIE7DSE5V
There was a hot fix that had a partial solution for Windows-based systems, but due to difference on how strings are handled it did not provide a solution for Linux servers. We are working on a better solution. You can track progress of this problem via JRIE7DSE5V
Subject: But Language pack installed is French one ?!.. ![]()
and after applying this :"to resolve this issue along with adding the following parameter to the notes.ini:
RouterOOSReponseLanguage=nStrings_fr.dll (Windows)
or
=strings_fr.res (Unix\Linux)." it’s no more working.
Could i reinstall the lang pack ?..
Is it caused by the Interim fix pack (3)?..
Subject: interim fix
I did not do the interim fix, so my knowledge is second hand.I understood that it had only a partial solution - could only handle Windows, but not Linux.
There is work under way now on the full solution, this work has a high piority.
