Hi, one of our user sent out an email on 8 Mar 2010 and received out of office replies from 2 of her addressees on 18 and 31 Mar, respectively. Her email was addressed/sent to herself but she blind-copied most people from her department. She is on LN851, no fixpacks installed, winxp os. So far, this has been the first time that a user received very delayed ooo replies. We are using Domino 851 FP1. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Subject: check the delivery dates, message tracking, recipient OO settings
First, I would check the delivery dates and message tracking to verify that the OO responses were actually sent on the later date…not sent earlier and for some reason not delivered to her until now. (Maybe they’d somehow been quarantined or marked held or something.)
The next thing I’d check is to see if the people she got those OO responses from have recently set their OO. It used to be - and I’m not sure if it still might be - that if you enable your OO when it is set for some date previous to today, it will send OO messages to everyone who emailed you since then.
Either way, I don’t think the problem is with the person who received the messages late.
