Only rooms and Resources missing in free-time database

We are currently faced with a problem that I personally have not seen before:

Users reserve rooms, but get no feedback at all and also the room is not booked. In other words the users get no feedback that the room they’ve booked is unavailable or similar…

Upon checking and later re-creating the free-time (freetime?) database I’ve found that all people are added correctly, however no rooms are added.

Anyone know what the issue could be?

Please assist as soon as possible.

Does this issue coincide with any recent upgrades? What template version is the resource database running on?

It sounds like the Rooms & Resource Manager is not running since users get no response back. So make sure it is running on the server where the R&R db is.

Did you check the R&R db to see if their requests are just sitting there? If they are then I refer you back to the question above.

If RnRMgr is running on the server you can use the validate command on a room name to see if it thinks your room is ‘valid’ and thus one to be processing requests for or not. You can also try the whoowns command (if you are clustered) to see if another server is supposed to be doing th work but is not.

Are these newly created R&R entities or are they ones you’ve had for a while and this just started happening?
