Online Status in @Picklist (Regression or Bug)

Goal: Show user a list of approvers with online status so they have the option to select an approver who’s online and available.

I have created a view with user names (abbreviated) - showing online status. No problem.

I have created a button with @Picklist showing that view.

When I look at the view, online status shows.

When I bring that view up using @Picklist (or even PickListStrings in Script)… the online status does not show.

In troubleshooting I found…

  1. This works on a 6.5 Client against 8.0.1 Server

    This does not work on 8.0.1 Client against 8.0.1 Server

  2. This works in Basic Mode

    This does not work in Standard Mode

Anybody have any advice on this.

I don’t get it.

Subject: Ever get this solved? I have a similar problem

My user is running R5 client, server is 8.0; db worked in test but it was an R6.5.4 server. In production, user can see the picklist choices in the view which displays the choices, but they do not display in the PicklistStrings method.
