Hello, I have a problem with a client machine when we start Notes it is trying to open a problem database and hanging because it has the preference “On restart, reopen any tabs that were open when I closed the client”.
While I struggle to fix this problem database, how can I stop the client from opening it in a tab? Is there a setting in the Notes.ini? Where is the tab information held when Notes is not running? Removing the cache.ndk doesn’t do anything.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Adrian

Subject: Re: Restart Open Tabs
Hi Adrian,
Last I recall the Open Tabs were stored in the Bookmark.nsf file. You can rename the Bookmark.nsf file to OldBookmarkdb.nsf, delete the cache.ndk, and relaunch Notes. The Bookmark.nsf and Cache.ndk will automatically be recreated. From there, you can disable the preference, open your OldBookmarkdb.nsf and configure your new Bookmark.nsf just like the old one.
An example of an issue in prior releases is outlined in the Technote I included below. Note how this TN explains where this feature is stored; although, I do not know for sure if this has changed at all in the 8.x Codestream.

I hope this information helps Adrian - feel free to reply back with any questions, as I do tend to check back often.
Good luck!
