Heres the story. We have one domino server but when we were running r5 we had 2. When we moved to our new iseries we only installed one domino server but some of our users using File>db>open…in the server list the old server is still listed…Not for everyone though. Is this some sort of local cache? Also so of our doclinks try to resolve the old Domino server first…of course it does not find anything but the links work I was just wondering WHY it would try to resolve to a server that no longer exists and never did on this iseries server…anyone?

As long as at least one database icon for ‘Server A’ is on a user’s workspace, ‘Server A’ will appear in the File > Database > Open dialog box.

Hi Thomas,
I am sure if you check their workspaces you will find that they still have bookmarks for the old server (maybe stacked replicas) once these are all removed the old server will not show up in the open db list.
