Old Calender entries missing

My user complaint to me that the old entries in her calender are missing. Those entries that entered by herself are missing but the entries that hosted by others are still there.

Could this be happened? Why? Any settings to avoid this?

Subject: Accidental Deletions?

Is the user in question deleting any calendar related documents under the assumption that they are not needed? They may be accidentally deleting the meetings without realizing it.

Subject: Remove Meeting invitations after responded

Could it be because the user had tick on settings below:

From Inbox, Tools> Preferences> Calender & To Do tab> Display tab>

where she selected the “Remove Meeting invitations from your Inbox after you have responded to them”?

That makes her old schedules missing?

Subject: Calendar preference question

No. That just removes them from the view. It doesn’t delete the documents. In fact, enabling that setting is a good way to help prevent accidental deletions.
