Oddness in the Dynamic policies 'Precedence View'

I have created 4 explicit policies (/policy1…/policy4 in the graphic) in order to test setting policy precedence.I had a couple of other polices in my test environment but deleted them in an attempt to simplify things and allay confusion. Now, the precedence column shows ‘3, 4, 5, 6’ rather than ‘1, 2, 3, 4’ as I would expect.

I rebuilt the view and compacted the directory, but still see precedence as 3 - 6.

Subject: I get the same thing. Policies missing that are not applied to anyone.

I think I noticed the same thing. I found the missing policies (with the according precedence) abandoned under Explicit Policies. They went there after I removed any users and groups from the policy assignment tab.

kind of makes sense… I guess.
