I have an intermittent spell check issue. When spell checking an e-mail it runs through and highlights one thing, but what is in the spell check pop-up is different. It will do this for the entire document. The words showing up in the pop-up box are within the document, but it just seems to be out of sync when highlighting. below are some screen shots.
Subject: Re: Odd Spell Check Issue
Yeah, I found this back in April and opened a PMR.
A few snippets from what I heard back:
I wanted to let you know that I have thoroughly tested this issue and have found this issue is a Regression that appears to have been introduced in the 8.0.1 Codestream. I was able to reproduce this issue in both the Standard and Basic releases of the 8.0.1 Notes Client. I was not, however, able to reproduce this issue in the 7.0.2, Standard 8.0, or Basic 8.0 Notes Clients. I have found that if you do select “Replace”, then it will Replace the wrong Text as well.
I have tested and found this issue does not occur only when forwarding - I found that this problem occurs when performing all of the following actions:
Reply with History Only, Reply with History & Attachments, Reply with Internet-Style History, Reply to All with History Only, Reply to All with History & Attachments, Reply to All with Internet-Style History, Forward with Attachments, Forward, and Internet-Style Forward.
NOTE: This does not occur when selecting the action “Reply” or “Reply to All” as those two options do not include the original message.
I have performed various searches and have found Technote 1087283, which I have included below, that seems to outline this issue. This Technote dates back to R5 and the issue has not resurfaced until now. It appears I will need to either reopen this SPR or write a New SPR for this issue.

And,
I have documented this issue in a Software Problem Report - SPR#: RJAS7DYMNS. I am unsure as to how long it will take for the SPR to be reviewed, however, I will discuss this issue at my Client Workstation Meeting tomorrow and update you on anything that I find.

I recommend that you (and anyone else affected) add yourselves to the “interested parties” list against that SPR.

Thanks Rob. Now if only I can figure out how to add myself as an “interested party”
Subject: Fixed in 8.0.2
I just got off the phone with Notes support. According to them, SPR#: RJAS7DYMNS is fixed in Notes 8.0.2, which is due out in August. However, I do not see it currently listed in the Fix List
