ODBC connection to AS400

Hello,

I have created an application which is reading and writing the data From As400 using Client Access ODBC Connection.Now in order to give this application to users do we have to create ODBC connection on all the clients PC or is there any other way.

If we have to create dsn on each and every PC how can i do it programatically ie user just click a button and System DSN creates automatically.

Here’s a link to a message I posted a while back, the answers from Neil and Andre are exactly what you are after. I started using this methodology they suggested, and it works like a dream. It actually means you can use LC LSX, JDBC anything you want in the UI, really good solutuion.
