I have a SQL Database on a Sql server 2005 express edition. When I try to fetch records from it by a notes agent, I can connect, I see the table list, but the query returns no records. I try the query on a sql client and it works correctly.
I used the same classes and methods of another notes agent that fetches records from a sql 2000 server.
Thanks in advance

I’m guessing, because I don’t have all the info, but if your data source is using Windows authentication, and you run the agent on the server, the server’s computer account may not have permission to read the data.
best to share your code and describe the SQL erver setup/permissions etc.

SQL server has mixed authentication. ODBC DSN use sql authentication (sa).
A strange thing happens: if I don’t use “SELECT *” form but I list every column, the records are fetched, but I can’t read them except the primary key. All others column values return False

Can it be because sql 2005 uses odbc 3.0 specification while notes uses odbc 2.0 specification?

I found the problem. It’s the column type. Notes ODBC can’t read data of columns of type nvarchar
I made a view with columns nvarchar converted to char and it worked!
