Am I doing something wrong??
I am in a form in Notes designer. I use Create - Object - select “Object from a file”,
enter in the file name of a formatted xcel spreadsheet and select “Dislay as Icon” then OK.
Now the behavior is just about exactly what we need. The user clicks on the icon (that doesn’t display as an xcel worksheet icon for some reason, but that’s minor) and the worksheet is brought up (tho in a browser instead of xcel). Changes can be made to the formatted worksheet and you click the 'Close & Return to …" button. This saves the new version of this spreadsheet in your document.
If I choose NOT to click ‘Display as Icon’, the actual spreadsheet appears in the document. Better yet! It appears you can make changes to it right there. But if you save and exit the document and return, the changes do not appear in the spreadsheet. Do I need to save this some other way? There are no headings when you are editting the worksheet where I could click a ‘save’ or 'Close & Return to…".
Any ideas?
