Nupgrade.exe tool - Calendar blank

I’ve searched numerous times on this subject and cannot find an answer to my problem.

Which is…

I’m migrating Outlook .pst files into Notes using the nupgrade tool, the calendar entries come across okay, but they’re only in the Meetings view and not the calendar. I can copy and paste one entry from the Meetings view into the correct date on the calendar, but I don’t want to do that for all the dates. Is there any way to get the meetings into the correct date on the calendar?

I am not going to use Binary Tree’s Common Migration Tool (CMT) basically because the end users server is in London and the WAN link is not very fast. I did a test migration using the CMT but it took over an hour to do 7Mb and some of the mailboxes are over 1Gb. As far as I know you cannot use CMT when working on a .pst file?!?!?

Did not solve my problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike.

Hi,

You can use CMT for pst files. if the user has more than one pst file (split generally due to the 2GB limit).

You send a mail to the people whom you want to convert and they click the migration button in their mail.

My trials with the nupgrade tool almost always failed. Another tool you may want to try may be transend at www.transend.com.

Thanks for your reply.

I presume you mean the end user migration within CMT? Because of the WAN restrictions is that process going to be the same as the server to server migration? The pst files I have were sent via ftp so they’re off-line and am I correct in saying that if I did go for the end user migration using the pst an email would be sent to the user in the London office? It’s something I can test anyway…

Subject: Solved

After a call to IBM, they informed me that this issue has now been resolved:http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=899&uid=swg21193369

Upgrading to Notes 6.5.5 solved my problem.

Furter to… Upgrading to 6.5.5 did not work for one .pst migration, had to downgrade to 6.5.4.
