Each day our server slows down so much users complain (like clockwork). It pegs the CPU to ~100%. The culprit… nupdate.exe. Is there a way to force this task to run at night only? I know how to run (e.g. program document or via notes.ini) the task but am more interested in how to stop the task during the day. I guess keeping Update from loading (quit Update/Chronos) and just letting nightly UPDALL run would do the trick, right? Any drawbacks?
Is there a real reason for it to run during the day? Few directory updates are made, new content does not really need to be searched until the next day, etc. Thanks in advance team?
