A numberfield changes automatically to 56.999999% when entering 57%. This strange problem only occurs with 57%, not with any other number. Seems to be an integer error of the software? Maybe the processor does something wrong? Who knows a workaround? We now enter 57.0001% to fix it manually, but this is not the elegant way…

In the field properties, how many decimal places do you have set? I saw something strange like this when I was using a currency field. It kept adding the view column incorrectly (extra .01). I opened up the number of decimal places, saved the documents, then reset it to 2 places, saved the docs again and the problem was gone. Go figure (no pun intended)
