Number of unreaded mails

I cannot see number of unreaded mails into folders (by example Inbox (5) ). Why?

Is the mail DB in question using the 6 template? If not, try replacing its design.

Yes, I have StdR6Mail template

I have seen this problem in a domino 6 cluster environment. Maybe it´s a bug? My workaround is to “mark all mails read” in the database. After that, the following unreaded mails number was correct. This is not a solution, but I hope this helps you a little bit.

We don’t have a Domino 6 Cluster Environment. I have tried with your workaround but unfortunately it doesn’t work. Maybe - you are right - it’s a bug. One thing: I’ve Notes Client with StdR6Mail template, but our Domino Server is 5.0.10. Do you mean this is a problem?Thanks

Yes, that IS the problem. And it’s one you could have found the answer to in under a minute, by searching this forum before you posted. This exact problem is reported (and answered) here once a week, at least. You can almost set your watch by it.

That has to be the problem. I’m pretty sure that you have to be running Domino 6 with the Notes 6 client in order to benefit from all of the 6 features.
