Number Field (Currency) -> Web & No Comma

I have been forced to format in XSL for PDF, etc. I am still having an issue presenting (via email) currency with the proper formatting (comma). The field is set to punctuate at 1000s. I have an agent that grabs the # but there is no comma. I’m using the following…

Call rtitem.AppendText( “Price: $” +doc.Price(0)+ " USD" )

I also tried using format() and Cstr() just for fun. No luck… the above just shows “Price: $25000 USD” and should show “Price: $25,000.00 USD”. Any ideas? Is there something needed re: formatting in the agent? Again, the price field is a # field and set to currency.

Try:

Call rtitem.AppendText( “Price: " & Format(doc.Price(0), “Currency”) & " USD” )

or use

Format(doc.Price(0), “$###,###,##0.00”)

I know you said you tried format, but it can do what you want. Oh, and I think its better to use the “&” to concatenate strings instead of “+” for LotusScript.

Thanks! I think it was used in the wrong context. I’ll try these (will just cut&paste… remove chance of errors).
