NSFNoteDecrypt() & DECRYPT_ATTACHMENTS_IN_PLACE

Hi,

I needed to obtain the decrypted form of an attachment and found with some experimentation that calling NSFNoteDecrypt() with DECRYPT_ATTACHMENTS_IN_PLACE results in the attachment coming out decrypted when exporting the DXL.

However, the documentation does not indicate that this is possible, stating that a) that only way to decrypt an attachment is to call NSFNoteExtractFile(), and that b) DECRYPT_ATTACHMENTS_IN_PLACE is only meant to be used when you are intending to call NSFNoteCopyAndEncrypt() at a later time.

So I’m a little concerned that this is not a supported usage, even though it seems to work for me! Does anybody have any experiences with this API or insight into this?

Thanks.

BTW I meant to add that exporting the DXL without decrypting with DECRYPT_ATTACHMENTS_IN_PLACE does not result in the attachment coming out decrypted…
