HI All,

i´m having a problem with “NSFDbCreateAndCopy” and wondered if anyone here could help me out (of course you can :wink: )

Ok, heres my code (just a test code)

Const NOTE_CLASS_ALL = &H7FFF

Const DBCOPY_REPLICA = &H1&

Declare Function NSFDbCreateAndCopy Lib “nnotes.dll” Alias “NSFDbCreateAndCopy” (Byval dbFullSourcePath As Lmbcs String, Byval dbFullTargetPath As Lmbcs String, noteClass As Long, limit As Long, flags As Double, dbHandle As Double) As Integer

Agent Code:

Dim dbHandle As Double

Call NSFDbCreateAndCopy(“sourceServer!!sourceDb.nsf”, “targetServer!!targetdb.nsf”, NOTE_CLASS_ALL, 0, DBCOPY_REPLICA, dbHandle)

What happens is, that the db gets created on the target server but it isn´t a replica nor are all the design elements there (nor data docs)

Could anyone tell me what´s wrong with my code?

I´m using api here because i can´t create a replica with LS with the option (without acl)…and i need to do that (is there a other solution besides API ?)

hmmm…

i get a error 553 back but i´m not sure, where to look for the error description for that error number…

anyone got a idea ?

for one thing you have to be careful with your declaration. I do not think that Double is a usable datatype in your case. I’m not sure what guidelines you used to convert it.

As for the error, you can find it out by using OSLoadString
