After I have upgraded my lotus client to Release 7.0.2, every time i try to double click on NSF files via win explorer, I get the error: ‘Invalid directory name or device not ready’
The error occurs only when the lotus client is already opened. If you try that when the lotus client is closed, it will bring up the client and work as designed.
After many attempts to find the resolution in this forum without success I started to find out a resolution by myself.
The solution was found by following the steps:
1- Open up your windows explorer and go to TOOLS → FOLDER OPTIONS;
2- Switch to FILE TYPES tab;
3- Select the .NSF item and click in ADVANCED button;
4- On the next screen, hit EDIT … button;
5- Change the “application used to perform action” field value to: C:\notes\notes.exe -defini %1
6- Hit OK, Apply and OK again to validate and close the folder option windows.
