I access the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino daily and a popup appears atleast thrice “NSD is running”.It doesnt allow to do anything and i have to click on Ok which shuts down Lotus completely.

There is going to be more information needed from the NSD. The information here shows what was the cause but the information on what caused the NLNOTES crash.
Did you manage to recreate the items that I said should be the first thing done?
This would mean that you are running on a clean Notes install with all possible cached issues removed. If your client then crashes it is likely to be something else.
Are you doing anything at the time of the crash… ie an hoursly index? does your machine’s disk drive get loader at this time? or the light on the front of your machine does it flash faster or just stay on?
