I now have two users who are experiencing similar crashes - usually occurring after going from Notes to Excel (to print or when opening an attachment). (No changes to the database). It started intermittantly but now the crashes are occurring more and more frequently. With one user, his client regualarly crashes after converting a Notes document to Excel for printing, he closes Excel and returns to Notes ok. But when he leaves the database - Notes crashes and issues the NSD. He gets ERROR (48): couldn’t access shared memory key ‘IRIS$MEM$194$0$C.lotus.notes.data’ - (22) Invalid argument** Attach to process [ NLNOTES:0c90]

I read elsewhere in the forum to pay attention to the “fatal” entries in the NSD - we’re getting 2 such messages:

Any help would be appreciated.

I get the same error when trying to open particular emails from American Airlines. It happens only on their emails…Emails with your point (frequent flyer) summaries. It doesnt matter the user…they all get this error and crash.
