Subject: Now
Narsimha, Be for-warned that if the user has buggered up their calendar, (ANY THEY DO IT CONSTANTLY HERE) that your entries will have the wrong date on them. The only known work around that I have is to create a doc grab the created date and kill the doc you created… That way the time is based on the server date/time, which is usually going to be better maintained then the user date/time.
Other option is to use Formula to set the Date/Time as the default value of your field using @now([ServerTime]:[LocalTimeOnError])…
Subject: Now
User Today()
Dim DT As String
DT$ = Today()
Print DT$
Subject: Now
Try dt.dateonly
Subject: Now
Date(Now)
Subject: Now
Just use: doc.test1 = Date
and if your test1 field is a Date/Time field, make sure the display settings for the field are set to only display the date.
