@now to return Date in mmm-dd,yy format

Hi All,

I am using @Text(@now) to set the current time in the history field.

But the Date format required is (mmm-dd,yy) eg Jan-11,07.

How can I do this without using some other field?

I suppose there is no inbuilt formula to do this, can be done this way:

@Text ( @Day( @Now ) ) + " " + @Select( @Month( @Now ); “Jan”; “Feb”; “Mar”; “Apr”; “May”; “Jun”; “Jul”; “Aug”; “Sept”; “Oct”; “Nov”; “Dec” ) + " " + @Text( @Year( @Now ) )

There’s not a way to do it with the @Text format string, no, but if you say more about the context where you need to do this conversion, chances are there’s an easier way.
