notesxspviewentry.getColumnvalue() question

I’m trying to get a columnvalue in a column formula of a view control. When using the getColumnvalue() property of the notesxspviewentry class, what do I use as the column name? Is it the xpage view control column id? columnname? or the programmatic name of the underlying view?

Notes help is not clear and the wiki doesn’t address it either.

Subject: Programmatic name of column seems to work

I’ve only used getColumnValue() once so far on an XPage, but it worked with the programmatic name of the column.I.e. if you open the view in Designer and look at the properties of one column, it’s this part:
