NotesTimer Function

Dear All,

I know this sounds an old issue. The issue is more on the development task, although I am a newbie for this kind of application, but to be perfectly honest my development ability is quite not working now. I hope somebody out there could help and lead me to a proper understanding about my issue.

Well, here it goes…

We have a LN application (Web based) to fill out details and question by our prospective new employees. The application needs to be timed and and it will automatically save and closed with the allowed time.

I did some research and testing… found something like the notestimer function… I have been reading lately regarding that function but I am having a difficult time to comprehend about the said finction.

Any better way or approach to deal/solve this application issue. Currently, we are using 6.5.x and soon we’ll be migrating to 7.0.2

Hi,

If you are doing a web application, then you can use settimeout javascript function. When the time is out, you might need to disable all control (textbox,combobox,radio button, etc…), and call a document.forms[0].submit() to force the submission.
