NotesSql on domino 7

I have recently upgraded to Notes 7 and have now encountered a problem with using NotesSQL. I have been using the NotesSQL druver for ODBC access to ?Notes 5 and 6 for sometime - under Notes 7 it no longer allows a user to access the database via SQL unless they are named expicitly in the ACL - not in a group. Does anyone have a workaround for this??

Is this in a local database or a db on Domino? There has been an issue since NotesSQL 3.00 on local databases, it’s listed in the readme.txt

  • User cannot authenticate when Local DB with Enforce Consistant ACL,

    and user is member of a group.

This is against local - but we have been running the process in this way for years against notes 5 and 6.5 on local. It is only since Notes 7 we have had this issue.
