Hello. My first post and first week on my new job. Our company uses Lotus Notes and for me it has been first time since OS2/Warp that I have been using it. Needless to say it has changed. ![]()
Our company upgraded to version 8.0 from 6.5 about a month ago. Upgrade went well but some issues with ODBC to Crystal Reports have come up.
My problem right now is creating an ODBC Datasource Name for NotesSQL.
I can enter my Datasource Name, Server Name but when I click on the down arrow for Database, I do not get a list of databases off the server.
Why?
I can also go to options and load up an ID file but still the resulting ODBC Databasource does not work in Crystal as I get prompted for username and password and then get an error message saying Bad Login.
There is a computer in the office beloging to one of the analyst which does not have this problem. Using same names and login and passwords one can retrieve the database list.
I tried a few ideas I found around on the net. I did check that my Notes.ini path is correct in the path statement. I did doublecheck that my NotesSQL.cfg file has the right path pointing to the ID file. I did check the registry to make sure the path is correct. Iām puzzled what the issue is.
Thanks for your responses.
