Can you make a query case insensitive?

So that if they enter LastNames like Linhardt, LINHARDT, linhardt, or LiNhArDt it will still run the query and find it?

While searching the forum I did find where someone stated the following as the solution to case-insensitivity: SELECT * FROM ““Activity Report”” WHERE {fn LCASE(NameLast)} LIKE “linhardt” and it worked but it would not for “Linhardt” or any other ways. It only worked for “linhardt”.

I need it to be complete case insensitive no matter how it is inputted.

Is there a solution???

Subject: NotesSQL - Case Insensitive???

Nevermind, forgot the obvious cause I was thinking too hard and just made it so that the string that was being inputted would be changed to lower case programmatically.
