My environment settings are:
-WPS 4.2.1
-Domino 6.0.2 for LDAP and email server
The Lotus Notes portlets do not resolve the @MailServer and @MailFile(which are
already set as attributes in the domino ldap – attributes that anoynomous users can
query).
I have followed the documentation in
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pvc/wp/42/ext/en/InfoCenter/index.html to configure the
domino ldap, and still get the same exceptions.
I have just input value of the mailserver and mailfile previously, with Domino
5.0.12; it works. But it is sort of “hardcoded” one, so I upgrade the Domino to 6.0.2
with LDAP, now when i input value of the mailserver and mailfile, it doesn’t work.
Can anyone give me a hand? I am very frustrated with the Notes Portlet and the domino settings…
thx,
Katharine
Subject: NotesPortlets and Domino 6.0.2 LDAP
The problem has been solved after i add the domino host name in the CSEnvironment.properties in WAS Dir.
A new problem about the SSO and authetication:
My Situation:
I am using Domino6.0.2 as Directory Server. I have a user named “agentone” in my IBM Directory Server. As the InfoCenter for the portal server said “Users with matching names in IBM Directory Server LDAP directory and Domino Directory are denied access to Domino databases in a collaborative portal using SSO and Domino Directory Assistance.” Thus, I just delete the old record for “agentone” and create “agent1”. It works when i set a email acct using Outlook. But when I go to the Notes Portlet, and switch ID into “agent1” the Domino console shows:
“LDAP Server: Warning: Invalid credentials specified on Bind request, DN is uid=agentone,cn=users,dc=abc,dc=com”
and also same for other users.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
Thx!
