Any reason not to use the built in Domino archiving functionality? I know that’s not really answering your question, but it might be a simple solution, unless there’s a reason for using other code.

The client has had a custom Archive solution since R4 and they like it. Its pretty simple and hasn’t had many problems in the past.
This new error only arises when using Windows7, 64 bit.
There’s no real need to go to the standard solution, we just need to fix this one error.
