Notes Who column - display email address

Hopefully someone may be able to help with this…

At my office the IT group is not LotusScript savy and at present the design view for my “Who” column in Lotus notes is set-up to only display the name of the sender (or the characters prior to the “@” sign if it is only an email address).

I want to export the folder column data with the inclusion of both the name AND the full email address of the sender (I have a folder with hundreds of incoming mail messages for which I need to add the addresses to a major-domo list).

Can anyone help me out in editing the script so that the WHO column displays the full email address of the sender???

This will save me hours of individual clicking efforts. Thanks!

The column value coding is as such:

SentBy := @If(Principal = “”; From; Principal);

Who := @If(DeliveredDate != “” | SendTo = “”; SentBy; @Subset(SendTo; 1));

CN1 := @Trim(@Name([CN]; Who));

CN2 := @Left(@Right(Who;“/DDA:”);“/” );

CN := @If(@Contains(Who;“/DDA:”);CN2;@Contains(@Right(Who;“@”);“>”) & CN1=“”;@Trim(Who);CN1);

G := @If(CN = “”; @Trim(@If(DeliveredDate != “” | SendTo = “”; @Name([G]; SentBy); @Name([G]; @Subset(SendTo; 1)))); “”);

S := @If(CN = “”; @Trim(@If(DeliveredDate != “” | SendTo = “”; @Name([S]; SentBy); @Name([S]; @Subset(SendTo; 1)))); “”);

Person := @If(CN != “”; CN; G != “”; G + " " + S; S != “”; S; @Trim(X400FreeForm));

Person2 := @If(@Left(Person;1)=“"” & @Right(Person;1)=“"”; @LeftBack(@RightBack(Person;1);1); Person);

@If(Form = “Delivery Report” : “NonDelivery Report” : “Trace Report” : “Quota Report”; “Mail Router”; Person2)

Subject: Notes Who column - display email address

I may be confused, is ths a mail file/form?

create a column with FROM as the value, if this is memo form, and the mail came from the internet, not notes, it will display the common name and the email address like this:

“Common Name” CName@domain.com

Subject: RE: Notes Who column - display email address

Dear Andrew,

Thanks. I just went ahead and replaced all the coding with “FROM” and now the Who column is displaying the whole name AND email - woo hoo!

Boy, is it frustrating to be more savy than the IT department, or at least be savy enough to find out where to ask for help.

Happy New Year.
