Notes Users Can't Send Email

We have recently migrated to Domino 6.01. Most users run Win2000 Pro on their desktops. Everyday we have at least one user who all of a sudden can no longer send email. They are able to still receive email, and they have connectivity to the Domino Server, and the Domino Server is up and running fine, however each time they try to send email, they receive the following error “The Server is not responding. The server may be down or you may be experiencing network problems.” If I delete the user’s lotus directory and then reinstall notes everything works fine. Can anyone help us with this issue?Thanks - James

One thought - check the client’s TCP/IP timeout value. It defaults to 5 seconds - raising it a bit might help.

It’s under File->Preferences->User Preferences->Ports->TCP/IP Options
