Notes Traveler - user can't authenticate

I have installed Traveler on my iPod Touch multiple times in the past few months for testing. I just received it back from another co-worker and I can no longer authenticate my user to get it setup. I can login to generate the profile to install, but once I click on install, it prompts for the password, and after I enter it, I get the following error: “Could not connect - Connection to the server for account xxx could not be established. This may be due to an authentication error.”

Other users are working just fine, including having them test on this device. So it appears to be my account, but no idea where else to look.

Subject: bad login

Another explanation I just encountered : a bad login.

For some reasons, the user could authenticate to the traveler welcome page with a bad login (it lacked the last letter). Then it could not generate the account.

Use the email as login , it is more sure.

Subject: iPhone problem iwth profile

We have the same problem on one of your users. He had an Google account on his iPhone before. He did get the same error but managed to get it working after a manual install. This page looks very good.

Here are page from Lotus Greenhouse, down at the page you can see how to delete a profile.

Could be something with SSL and redirection or and old profile in the iPhone.

Subject: I’ll check them out

Thanks for the links, I’ll check them out. I did a full wipe/restore of the iPod before trying to set it up, hoping to clean up any residue it left.
