We have just started using iphone with notes traveler on domino 8.5.1 server. Everything works, email/calender but personal contacts do not. They are totally blank.
These users are roaming notes users, so they have local and replicas of their personal address books on the server that runs traveler. Any ideas?

Hi, did you enable “Synchronize Contacts” in “Replication and Sync”? I think this option has to be enabled to ensure your contacts are available to webaccess/traveler users.

Is that a setting on the iphone? Unfortunately I don’t have an Iphone…but my users do so its hard for me to look 
Subject: Contact Synching for iPhone/iNotes access
This is enabled from each user’s Notes client.
In v7, while accessing their mail, they can choose “Actions - Synchronize Address Book”. This will sync the contacts in their personal address book with their mail file. This is a manual process, however, and will need to be repeated whenever they have added additional contacts either in their personal address book or on their iPhone or iNotes.
In v8.x, they can access this setting from a few places. The easiest is for them them to go into their Contacts and click the Preferences option under the “More” button. They will have a checkbox to check named "Enable “Synchronize Contacts” on the Replicator. Enabling this will allow them set up an replication schedule so this action is automated. I believe this option in v8.x can be pushed out via a policy.

The only other thing I would check, besides that mention already is that contact sync is enabled on the device. This info center topic discusses how to enable.
