How do I correctly type the syntax to open a document using the Notes://servername//dbname command?

My document is stored in a database named forms.nsf which is on the ABC server in a folder name SMF. I am not sure if I have to locate the document ID of the document that I am trying to launch with this command. If so, what is the easiest way to identify the doc ID if it’s needed as part of the syntax?

The easiest way to determine the exact Notes URL to use is via the document properties.

Access the document using your Lotus Notes client, and open up the document properties.

Pick the fifth tab along ( <+> ), and look at the field labeled: “Identifier”

You should be able to copy the entire URL right out of the field.
