Is there a NotesSQL release planned for Notes 9?
Subject: There will be a new Notes SQL driver for 9.0
We are currently working on a new driver for 9.0. The current 8.5.3 driver will not install into a Notes/Domino 9.0 environment. There is a workaround but it is recommended that you wait for the new driver. The plan is to have the new driver available later this month.

I can also tell, for someone like me just completed ODBC setup, Notes 32-bit Notes 9.01 and IBM ODBC (also 32-bit) 9 drivers (former NotesSQL), these hints here, also helped me:
