Notes Setup is Complete every login

We have a pilot group set up with 8.0.2. Since Friday, each time one of the pilot group members log into Notes, they are presented with the “Notes Setup is Complete” prompt. After acknowledging the prompt, Notes opens successfully and all is well. I’ve searched the forum for this problem but found no information on what could be causing it. The pilot group is using the same Desktop policy, it has not changed. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Subject: Sounds like Authority

Hi there,

does sound like the users authority to the program folder where Lotus is installed. I have had isues where the signed in user does not have enough aut to the Program files\blah directory and from there you get many interesting challenges. Maybe orignal install never completely finished??? Try a few experiments. Take one user, add them to local admin of their own PC, log out and in and see if it comes up or not. If it does, log out and in again to see if it still comes up.

Subject: Groundhog Day - Setup is complete

I’ve got the same problem, but only one user that we’ve noticed in our rollout. It’s on a low memory pc–512. Installed with Desktop Policy, SmartUpgrade, SURUNAS. Only visible issue is the “install cancelled” after install finished successfully that happens on all installs. ENABLE_EARLY_ATHENTICATION=0 added to with no improvement.
