Scenario. User has a short cut on Windows desktop to a url. Click short cut and the Notes splash screen is displayed, it doesn’t actually fully launch Notes.
The user likes IE8, if you launch IE8, it detects it is not default browser for PC, user selects yes. If the short cut is now clicked on desktop, it corectly opens in IE8. If you now launch Notes, then click desktop short cut, it tries to launch in Notes, but fails “Invalid directory structure”…I think is the error.
Policies are applied to the user, but all the browser settings in policy are set to “Do not change”.
I am sure this is really basic, am I missing a setting somewhere?
