Using Notes R8.5 Administration client to administrate R5,R6 and R7 version servers (when Domains are in R6 or R7 version domains.) ?

I would like to get comments about this.

Can I user R8.5 version Admin client normaly for older servers and domains. ?

  • is there something what I should know before upgrading my Admin clinet to R8.5 ?

  • is it safe to user R8.5 admin client in this case. ?

Subject: Yes, using any newer version of the admin client is supported

It’s safe to use any version of the admin client that is newer than the Domino servers being administered.
