Notes prompts for location of ID file on every launch

Does anyone know why Notes prompts some users to browse for their ID files every time they launch? Most users have their Notes set up so that they just type in their password (their name is just listed in a dropdown). Can those who get prompted to browse for their ID file update their config to get the ID file preference stored?

Subject: they’ve mostly no write access to their program folder / notes.ini

thats why the value isn’t saved in the ini and users promptet to enter it.

Happens most time on Mac users. where u’ve to give them ownership/admin on the Notes Program
